| Description: |
Orange, type 2 personal flotation device. A horseshoe shaped life vest with a nylon belt, and plastic buckle. Polyester outside degrades rapidly with prolonged exposure to sunlight but remains intact even after 60 years if stored inside. Eight 1/2 inch layers of foam make up the inside of the PFD. Attached is a small plastic whistle and a battery powered beacon light. |
